Motivation is paramount
First and foremost, you have to want to massage. Touching someone you don't know does not come naturally to everyone, and that is an important aspect to consider.

Although I recognise that the ideal would be an in-person massage course, this online course will give you a foundation to start or improve your massage practice. It will let you learn at your own pace, and you will also be able to discover my style and my approach to massage and to teaching it.
If, however, you are interested in an in-person massage course in Nice, I invite you to click here or to contact me on WhatsApp.
In this introductory video, I will explain my philosophy of massage and of massage training. Contrary to popular belief, a good massage does not rest solely on mastering specific techniques. Here are the key points of my approach:

First and foremost, you have to want to massage. Touching someone you don't know does not come naturally to everyone, and that is an important aspect to consider.

More than technique, it is a deep understanding of anatomy that makes the difference. This knowledge will let you adapt your massage to each individual, and it is rarely taught in massage courses.

A good massage adjusts according to:

An in-depth knowledge of the human body will let you identify the areas where you can press and those that need a lighter touch.

You will discover a detailed online course on back massage, divided into three distinct parts for a logical progression in your learning:

This introductory section will give you the essential basics to approach back massage with confidence. You will discover the fundamental principles of a successful massage and the precautions to take for a safe, comfortable massage.

This part of the online massage course will focus on techniques specific to massaging the lower back, an area often prone to tension and pain. You will learn to locate and relieve tension points, relax the lumbar muscles and bring deep relaxation. These videos will enable you to give an effective, beneficial lower back massage.

The last section of the online course will be devoted to massaging the upper back, including the shoulder blades, shoulders and neck. You will discover techniques to release the tension that builds up in these areas, which are heavily used in daily life. Thanks to these videos, you will know how to effectively relieve upper back aches.

Each part will be explained in depth, giving you a solid, complete foundation for your back massage practice. This structured method is the one I use every day as a sports massage professional in Nice, including with Olympic and professional athletes. It allows me to give my clients effective massages adapted to their specific needs. My approach to massage training is unique, and until you can take an in-person course with me in Nice, I am offering you this online massage course.
